Brown not feeling the pressure

Aberdeen manager Craig Brown has dismissed any suggestions of pressure ahead of Wednesday afternoon`s Clydesdale Bank Premier League clash with Hamilton at New Douglas Park. The former Scotland boss began his reign as Dons boss with an encouraging 2-1 win over Hibernian at Easter Road at the weekend to climb off the foot of the table. However, defeat in Lanarkshire could see the Pittodrie club return to the basement again but 70-year-old Brown tried to put the fixture in to perspective."I'm not being disrespectful to the SPL but I've been in one or two pressure situations and really revelled in the challenge," he told RedTV."Scotland played Brazil in the opening game of the 1998 World Cup with people threatening a humiliation. They were the World Champions and there were 115 countries getting it live on television, now that's a wee bit of pressure."When you lose 2-0 at home to England and and have to play the second leg (of a play-off) at Wembley, that's a bit of pressure. We haven't been talking about league positions, just trying to get a team to win games and then look at the table in May."
