Arnie: I'll Be Back

Dons midfielder Kari Arnason has told of his desire to get back round the negotiating table with Aberdeen.

Arnason has impressed in making 32 appearances for Aberdeen since joining the Reds last summer following his departure from Plymouth Argyle.

The Iceland international rejected a new contract back in January and Dons boss Craig Brown confirmed he would be planning for next season without Arnason.

But today 29-year-old Arnason has indicated that he sees a bright future at Pittodrie, and would like to start contract discussions again so that he can be part of it.

Last week, Arnason said: "I would love to stay because Aberdeen is a great city, I love the people and it's a brilliant club. But I am nearly 30 and this could be my last contract so I have to think of a lot of factors."
