Aluko committed to Dons

Aberdeen winger Sone Aluko says he is fully focused on the job in hand at Pittodrie and has denied being the subject of any recent transfer interest.

The 19-year-old former Birmingham City youngster has settled in well with the Dons since his permanent arrival last summer, sparking talk of approaches from several clubs either side of the border.

However, Aluko told the Press & Journal: "I do not think about turning down big-money moves. No bids have come in, so there is nothing to think about.

"I am more than happy at Aberdeen and there is no reason for me to even think about moving.

"One of my goals is to play in the Premier League one day, but if you ask any player they will tell you the same.

"Some people may have said it was a step down coming to Scotland, but I did not see it that way."
