Aberdeen target Adebayo Akinfenwa is open to a move to Pittodrie.
The out-of-contract striker has been the subject of an enquiry from the Dons after rejecting a new two-year deal with Northampton. Now back in Britain from holiday, Akinfenwa will meet his agent Dean Baker this week to discuss his future.
"Aberdeen are a big club," Akinfenwa told the Evening Express. "I've got some good friends in Scotland and they tell me that. I am leaving Northampton to play at a higher level and all interest is welcome."
