Aberdeen FC's Brown In Wales Squad

27 February 2012 15:23
Dons keeper Jason Brown has been called up to the Wales squad.

The Reds' goalie was initially on the standby list for the friendly against Costa Rica but was called up over the weekend.

The game will be played at the Cardiff City Stadium on Wednesday 29th February 2012 at 7.45pm.

The game is intended to honour the memory of the former Wales international player and manager, Gary Speed, who died last November.

Brown has been in excellent form since taking over from on-loan Man City keeper David Gonzalez and making the No.1 shirt his own in the absence of Jamie Langfield.

The Welshman has been part of a Dons defence that has conceded only three SPL goals in 2012.
