Aberdeen FC Completes Gonzalez Signing
Aberdeen have completed the loan signing of David Gonzalez Giraldo from Manchester City on a six-month contract. The club has received official clearance for Gonzalez, who will join up with his new team mates at the Dons pre-season training camp in Holland next weekend. The 28-year-old Columbian international keeper signed for EPL club Manchester City in January 2010 before joining joined Leeds United on loan last season. The experienced keeper has played over 300 games in South America and Turkey and has been capped by Colombia twice. Gonzalez has been signed as cover for Dons keeper Jamie Langfield, who will be out of action until October after suffering a seizure last month.
