But most fans are surely going to wait until the outcome of NewCo vote to commit to purchases.

Aberdeen FC has announced season ticket prices for season 2012/13 - and it includes FREE tickets for under-12s.Any adult who purchases a season brief for any part of the stadium can claim an under-12 season ticket for no cost.Plus, for an extra £66, season ticket holders can upgrade to 'Black and Gold' membership, gaining them a free home or away shirt, free subscription to RedTV, two 'Bring a Buddy' vouchers and more.Furthermore, all season ticket and matchday ticket prices have been held at 2011/12 prices. However, the news today that the SPL clubs have postponed a crucial vote on changes to SPL rules to punish 'newco' clubs in the wake of Rangers administration and possible liquidation will surely have Dons supporters waiting until that outcome before committing to season ticket purchases. The fury surrounding the possibility of minimal sanctions and immediate SPL admission to a Rangers newco was ramped up in the wake of Rangers-supporting Kilmarnock chairman Michael Johnston's astonishing claim that "commercial benefits outweigh sporting integrity" in the SPL.But Dundee Utd chairman Stephen Thomson is well aware of the likely fans backlash that would follow any leniency towards a Rangers newco, today saying: "Fans are talking about boycotts," and adding, "We've got to think about the fans: without fans you don't have a club."The SPL clubs have set a date of 30th May to vote upon new financial fair play rules.Fortunately, Dons supporters have until 5pm on Monday 18th June 2012 to take advantage of the 'Early Bird' season ticket prices for the new season which gets underway on Saturday 4th August.Existing season ticket holders have the opportunity to purchase their own seat until 5 p.m. on Monday 11th June 2012, after which seats will go on general sale.To find out more information about AFC season tickets, visit RedWeb.To read RicoS321's article about Rangers, click here
